Consumer ADSL Broadband Service
ADSL (Asymmetric Digital Subscriber Line) uses traditional telephone
lines to provide high-speed internet technology. Transmission speed
can reach 1536 Kbps (approximate T1). It excels over Dial-up (56 Kbps).
On the other hand, switch ADSL can also provide high-speed data transmission
such as internet access and interactive services such as selecting movies,
video games and video information collecting. The maximum download and
upload capacity for switch ADSL are 1.5Mbps and 384K bps respectively.
Seednet's clients can enjoy their dedicated bandwidth without sharing
with others people, and avoid traffic jams on the internet.
Dial-up Service
Seednet provides Dialup
56K access services through a common telephone line phone. We own 15
internet data centers around the island. We also provide a suite of
value-added services, including international roaming, e-mail online
filtering, and wireless internet through PHS mobile phones. There are
two methods of payment for this product: pre-paid or monthly-billed
mechanisms.
Network
Building
By way of advanced xDSL, Seednet provides a network building service---SeedBuilding.
The transmission technique of xDSL uses double-wring copper telephone
line to connect with high-speed networks. Subscribers can own the maximum
8M bps bandwidth independently. It is fit for family use and business
at offices in a high-rise building. The installment of SeedBuilding
is to place a facility in the communication room in the building, and
use T1 dedicated lines to connect to Seednet's high-speed backbone network.
It provides a broadband service to consumers.
